Jackson-Help, My Kid Just Came Out of the Closet – What do I do now?

JACKSON – The Jackson Branch (2 Jackson Drive) of the Ocean County Library will present a program sponsored by the Jersey Shore PFLAG (Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). On Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at 7:00 p.m., a panel of parents who have been through the coming-out process with their gay teens will share their experiences.

The panel presentation, entitled “Help, My Kid Just Came Out of the Closet – What do I do now?” may be helpful to other families seeking to understand the needs of their teens. Jersey Shore PFLAG is an organization working toward an inclusive and just society that accepts each individual regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. They offer support and strive to make a positive difference in our communities.
