MANCHESTER, NJ – On Monday October 26th from 10 am to 3 pm, an Alzheimer’s Information Fair will take place at the Manchester Library. The library, the Zonta Club, and the Ocean County Task Force on Elder Abuse are sponsoring the event, which will include workshops on recognizing and understanding Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and memory loss. Community contacts will also be present to answer questions and offer helpful information. It will serve to kick off a series of programs related to Alzheimer’s disease at the Manchester Library during the month of November.
This program is open to the adult public, free of charge. Please go online to www.oceancountylibrary.org or call 732.657.7600 to register; starting on October 1st. Lunch will be provided to the first 40 individuals that sign up.
