Program at Jackson Library: “Accepted: Getting Into Your First Choice School”

JACKSON– Ambitious high school students, and their parents, will want to carefully plan a strategy for gaining admission to selective colleges and universities and getting up-to-date information will help. Come to the Jackson Branch of the Ocean County Library for Accepted: Getting Into Your First Choice School, on Thursday, November 12th at 7:00pm. The workshop is designed to show students and parents what college admissions officers expect from applicants’ high school experiences. Topics covered include a variety of admissions policies and the key factors used by admissions officers when deciding which students to accept. This program is presented by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.

This program is free and open to the public. Registration for the program begins Oct. 12. Please register in-person, by phone 732-928-4400, or online at http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org.
