If you are an aspiring filmmaker, the Ocean County Library might be checking you out.
The library is accepting submissions for its third annual film festival. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday April 14.
The festival will be held at the Toms River branch, 101 Washington Street, beginning Saturday May 15th
There are two divisions in this year’s film festival: one for entrants attending high school, the second for adults.
Categories include best short feature, best documentary, best animation, best music video, best commercial and best news piece.
To submit a film, send three copies on separate DVDs, along with a completed festival entry form. All entries must be original works.
Winning entries will be screened during the festival.
The festival is cosponsored by the Ocean County Library, the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission and the Kiwanis clubs in Ocean County.
