Cabaret at the Surflight and Dinner

Join the Friends of the Stafford Library for the Surflight Theater and Bisque restaurant.  Tickets are $50 per person, which includes 2:00pm theater and dinner to follow at 5:00pm.  Menu choices are:  roast prime rib of beef au jus, roasted filet of salmon with dill cream sauce or herb roasted chicken with pan gravy. BYOB. To reserve your spot call Geri: 609-597-6030 by August 6th.

Friends of the Stafford Library’s East Stroudsburg, PA Bus Trip, Luncheon, Theatre

Tour a historic inn and grounds with luncheon to follow. The show “Rumors” begins at 2:00pm.

Learn basic document creation, menu and toolbar functionality in Word. Students need mouse skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows. Registration begins two weeks before class date.

Family Movie: Surf’s Up

Based on the ground-breaking revelation that surfing was actually invented by penguins. A documentary crew takes the audiences behind the scenes at the annual Penguin World Surfing Championship and talks to the newest star Cody Maverick.   No registration necessary.

Master Gardener Series:  Herbs

An overview of what herbs to plant and where; their life cycles and growing hints including information on containers and soil; when to plant and how to harvest; and methods of preserving and uses.  The talk starts at 2:00pm.
